Eduardo Aram

Eduardo Arantes Barreto is a Brazilian film composer and electronic music artist based in Los Angeles. Previously a lawyer and high-profile DJ/producer in Brazil for over a decade, he moved into film and television composing in 2012, working alongside his then mentor and now business associate, the award-winning composer Antonio Pinto, for the BBC feature documentary, The Odyssey.

Eduardo has become best known for his lead composing on the feature films and documentaries, Selfless (2015), El Chapo (2017-18), Cocaine Godmother (2018), The Devil Next Door (2019), Runner (2020) and Blood on The Wall (2020) as well as the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

As a multi-instrumentalist and electronic programmer, Eduardo has provided additional composing on the Oscar winning feature documentary, Amy (2015) and the highly successful video game franchise, Need for Speed: Heat.

His most recent projects include the Netflix docuseries, SanPa: Sins of the Savior (2020) (lead composer), and the upcoming Sundance documentary Oaxacalifornia (2021) (lead composer) and the Apple TV series, The Mosquito Coast (2020) (additional composer).
