What do I need to do to participate?

> Read the additional instructions included in the same folder
> Compose a 1:45-minute piece to the video
> Upload the video with your original composition to YouTube (video thumbnail and credits provided within the downloaded assets must be used)

Whats the tempo / bpm of the original piece LIFE UNFOLDING?

What instruments can I use?

Be as creative as you want! You can sing, play guitar, bass, drums, use loops, plugins, virtual instruments, ring bells, whistles ;) 

Can I send the video and audio files separately?

Please send a YouTube link with your composition + video. Reach out in case you are unable to put the music and video together.

Where can I download the assets?

You can download them by clicking the button located at the top of this page.

Can I alter/edit the video?

No. The goal is that participants can compose to the visuals, just as if they were composing to a scened of a movie or comercial.

Can I use the video with other projects?

The footage contained in the video LIFE UNFOLDING is copyrighted by OSSYFFER and is only authorized to be used for the contest purpose. Therefore, the video cannot be edited, modified, used partially or in totality in collaboration with any other projects.

Will I be able to upload the video to my channels and share on social media?

Yes - YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Orkut, ICQ =)

Can I keep my rights to freely use my music in future projects?

YES, 100%. We don't keep any rights over your composition. If you are one of the finalists / winners, the video with your composition will be promoted on social media and on our websites using the Youtube link you provide.

Winners selection and prizes

The jury will select 10 Finalist composers.

The 10 selected composers with their compositions will be featured at www.musiccosmos.earth for public voting, which ends on April 1st. The most voted composers by the public will receive an additional vote that will be summed to the jury votes.

Votes from the jury plus public vote will result in winners based on the amount of main prizes available. For example, if 4 main prizes are available, 4 winners will be selected. Winners will be announced on April 2nd.

The 1st winner will choose from the available main prizes displayed at www.musiccosmos.earth/competition. Then in the following order: the 2nd winner will choose from the remaining main prizes. The 3rd winner will choose from the remaining main prizes and the 4th winner will receive the remaining prize. More winners will be selected in case other main prizes are added.

Dates might change based on the amount of entries. Participants will be notified via e-mail (check your spam box for music cosmos.earth@gmail.com)

Can I transfer the prize to someone else?

If I am not selected, will I receive any feedback?

Due to the high volume of submissions we will not be able to provide feedback.
