Pedro Bromfman

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, film composer Pedro Bromfman has been writing, playing and producing “Music For Images” for over fifteen years. A Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music, Pedro has worked as a session musician, music producer and arranger, before his passion for film scores brought him to Los Angeles.

Since moving to California, Pedro has composed and produced music for international brands and entertainment powerhouses such as Universal Pictures, MGM, Columbia Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Netflix, ABC, The Weinstein Co, Buena Vista International, Rockstar Games, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Nat Geo, ESPN, HBO, Univision, Epix, Ant Farm, BMW, Nokia, BlueCross BlueShield and Gatorade.

In recent years, Pedro Bromfman has composed scores for "RoboCop" (MGM), starring Gary Oldman and Michael Keaton; Three seasons of "Narcos" (Netflix); "Deep Web" (Epix), narrated by Keanu Reeves; "Paradise, Inc." (20th Century Fox), starring Harvey Keitel; "Em Nome Da Lei" (Fox); "Thumper", directed by Jordan Ross; the 6-episode series "Story Of Us With Morgan Freeman" (Nat Geo); Jessica Sanders' Sundance hit "End Of The Line"; the 8-episode series "Chain Of Command" (Nat Geo) and Alex Winter's "Panama Papers" (Epix).

His early credits include scores for "Tropa de Elite" ("Elite Squad"), winner of the Golden Bear at the 2008 Berlin Film Festival; "They Killed Sister Dorothy" (HBO), directed by Academy Award winner Daniel Junge and narrated by Martin Sheen; "March of the Living", directed by Jessica Sanders; "Tropa de Elite 2" ("Elite Squad: The Enemy Within"), the most successful Latin-American film to date; the romantic comedy and Brazilian blockbuster "Qualquer Gato Vira-Lata""G-Dog", directed by Academy Award winner Freida Mock and the video game "Max Payne 3" (Rockstar Games).

Pedro has been awarded two Gold Medals for Excellence in Film Music at the Park City Film Music Festival, an ASCAP Award, nominated for two Cinema Brazil Grand Prizes (Brazilian Oscars), a Hollywood Music in Media Award, an ACIE Awardand a Premio Contigo! De Cinema.

In 2019, Pedro Bromfman created the music for the feature film "The Blackout" and the video game "Need For Speed: Heat" (Electronic Arts). He's currently finalizing the music for "Far Cry 6"(Ubisoft).
