  4. Read the Instructions included in the downloaded folder

  5. Upload the video with your original score and proper credits to YouTube

  6. Submit your work by clicking the button “Submit Your Track Here” (above)

  7. 10 finalists will be selected by a jury and will be featured at www.musiccosmos.earth for public voting. Votes from the jury (more weight) plus public vote will result in winners according to the number of available prizes. More details to follow (see prizes below).

How many entries per person?

Only one entry per person.

Do we need to compose using the same tempo / bpm of the original score?

No

What instruments can I use?

Be as creative as you want! You can sing, play guitar, bass, drums, use loops, plugins, virtual instruments, ring bells, whistles ;) 

Can I send the video and audio files separately?

Please send a YouTube link with your composition + video. Reach out at musiccosmos.earth@gmail.com in case you are unable to put the music and video together and we’ll help.

Where can I download the assets?

You can download them by clicking the button “Download Files Here” located at the top of this page.

Can I alter/edit the video to fit my composition?

No. The goal is that all participants score the same piece of visual content, just as if they were commissioned to score a scene of a movie or commercial.

Can I use the video with other projects?

The video WHO SHOULD DECIDE can only be used in the context of the Music Cosmos Composer Competition. The content cannot be edited, modified, used partially or in totality in collaboration with any other projects unless authorized by Amazon Frontlines.

Using screenshots of the video on Spotify or Apple Music track covers is also not allowed.

Will I be able to share my entry on social media?

Yes - Facebook, Vimeo, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Orkut, ICQ =) In fact, by joining this competition and sharing on your social pages, you will be contributing to spread a message that’s very important: the conservation of our forests. So please, share!

Can I keep my rights to freely use my music in future projects?

YES, 100%. We don't keep any rights over your composition. If you are one of the finalists / winners, the video with your composition will be promoted on social media and on our websites using the Youtube link you provide.

Winners selection and prizes

The jury will select the finalists and their compositions will be featured at www.musiccosmos.earth for public voting. The composers with most public votes will receive additional points that will be summed to the jury votes.

The number of winners will be based on the number of prizes available. For example, if 5 main prizes are available, 5 winners will be selected. Physical prizes will be shipped within 30 days after the announcement of the winners. Delays on delivery may occur, so be patient ;)

Can I transfer the prize to someone else?

No.

Will I receive any feedback in case my soundtrack is not selected?

Due to the high volume of submissions we will not be able to provide feedback.
